Rivers and lakes are amazing places to tie the knot: they usually feature picturesque landscapes, you feel close to nature and outdoors and such venues usually don’t cost much, which is great for a budget-friendly wedding. We already have some ideas on lakeside weddings and today I’ll share some more, this time these are riverside weddings.
Wedding Ceremony Spaces
Riverside is a gorgeous spot for tying the knot. Create a beautiful wedding altar of greenery, go for a semi-circular wedding altar of pampas grass, rock a trendy circular wedding arch decorated with pampas grass and greenery, a triangle wedding arch with various blooms and greenery. A gorgeous river behind you will be a fabulous backdrop for the ceremony.
Riverside wedding receptions are mostly casual and boho, rather rustic and relaxed. Go for greenery runners, burlap placemats, some wildflowers, candles and maybe some macramé touches. Your wedding reception will be completed with a gorgeous river view.
Go along the river on a boat decorated with blooms and greenery. Make fantastic wedding portraits in the river or on the bank. Offer your guests a delicious wedding cake with drip, with donuts and greenery and enjoy!
